During the day, the Bedford Splash Aquatic Center is known for fun in the sun with three pools and water slides. At night, on the second Friday of each month, it’s time to cool off during the sizzling summer nights with Flick N’ Float.
Flick N’ Float is a family event that combines the relaxation of floating in the pool with watching a newly released movie on a 16’ x 21' screen above the pool. Bring your life jackets or pool noodles. Keep your wristband from your same day admission or pay $5 to join the Flick N' Float fun from 7 pm to 9 pm. The concession stand will be open for refreshments.

The Dallas Zoo offers a Family Safari Night Hike August 11 from 7 pm to 10 pm. This zoo tour after dark is an opportunity for families to experience the world of animals in a new and fascinating way.
